Commercial Solicitor

A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor to join a leading national firm in their Manchester office.

The team works with an impressive client base of recognised and household names, many of which are in the retail, media and sports sector, your work will be both varied and complex.

Your position as a Commercial Solicitor, will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a whole host of contracts including Intellectual Property, IT and data protection matters and although the role is predominantly focused on North West matters the team are progressively involved in national and international work and there will be every opportunity to be involved with this too. There are also various secondment opportunities should this person be interested.

The team, both in Manchester and nationally, have various recognised individuals and a very good presence within this market. They are all really personable and approachable and actively encourage client involvement. As an experienced Commercial Solicitor, you will be working under the name of a well-known law firm, which will give you an edge in carving out your own name as Commercial Solicitor.

This successful person will ideally be at least 5 years PQE and will have experience working with PLCs and larger SME clients. Experience with Intellectual Property and/or IT will be beneficial but not essential for the role.
