Employment Solicitor - High Quality Work
A pre-eminent Legal 500 listed and Chambers rated national commercial practice is actively seeking to expand its Employment Team with the hire of an Employment Solicitor to be based at the firms' headquarters in Birmingham city centre.
This firm has enjoyed phenomenal success in recent years as a result of accelerated growth and new client wins and it continues to act on behalf of a host of stellar clients predominantly in the technology, energy, real estate, corporate and financial sectors.
The Employment Team forms part of the wider National Corporate & Finance Division which undertakes a broad portfolio of corporate and commercial work across a variety of sectors to include manufacturing, beverages, retail and education. The Employment Team currently acts for a significant number of higher education bodies throughout the UK and is renowned as being at the forefront of the sector.
The Employment Team is eager to recruit an additional employment solicitor with anything from 1 to 4 years' PQE who has experience of dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters to include advisory work, Tribunal claims, whistle blowing, TUPE issues and changes to legislation. Whilst respondent experience is preferred, the practice is happy to hear from employment solicitors with a claimant background as long as they can demonstrate solid exposure to corporate support.
Whilst the role will provide access to employment work on behalf of corporate and commercial clients, you will also have the benefit or acting for educational bodies and other public-sector clients and there will also be some opportunity to undertake advocacy.
In addition, you will also have the opportunity to participate in business development initiatives and help shape the team going forward so progression opportunities are abundant. You will also have a good deal of client exposure so this is a great opportunity for those who are keen to go above and beyond normal fee earning duties and have the chance to forge a successful long-term career for a major player in the employment sector whilst working alongside experts within the sector.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary and have the opportunity to be part of a highly regarded and envied team. The benefits package is excellent and includes a generous holiday allowance of 27 days with the option to carry some entitlement over, as well as private healthcare and medical insurance and the firm really does pride itself on investing in you in order for you to develop your professional skills to allow you to progress so for more information on this Employment Solicitor opportunity please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
