In-house Corporate and Commercial Lawyer

Entrepreneurial Greater Manchester group of companies seeks In-house Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to support the Head of Legal with commercial contracting, corporate transactions and business legal advice across a diverse selection of markets, sectors, channels and countries.

Role

To support the Head of Legal with the provision of timely and accurate in-house legal advice, there is a requirement for an experienced mid-level commercial and/or corporate solicitor to join the company as Legal Counsel / In-house Corporate and Commercial Lawyer.

Our client is looking to recruit an In-house Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to provide active legal support across a range of legal specialisms, including commercial contracting, corporate transactions and business legal advice. This is likely to include general commercial contracts, data protection, IT/IP, consumer protection, procurement, insurance, risk management and business compliance.

Due to the highly entrepreneurial nature of the group, and the business founders active involvement in the business, its strategy and direction, you will have fantastic exposure to senior stakeholders, the business decision making process and large business projects.

Person

This role of In-house Corporate and Commercial Lawyer would suit a UK qualified commercial and/or corporate solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE gained at a leading commercial law firm and/or in-house department. You should thrive in a fast-paced and demanding working environment, and have a genuine interest in undertaking a mixed legal and commercial workload.
