Legal Cashier opportunity in London.

One of the world's most prestigious global law firms based in the City now have an excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join their expanding and friendly team.

The successful Legal Cashier will predominantly be responsible for providing a comprehensive Accounts Payable/ Cashier service to the London office. The role will involve setting up new vendors using the system Chrome River, scan and post invoices and credit notes, verifying vendor accounts and reconciling monthly statement, maintaining accurate records, identify and pay professional fees in compliance with SRA Accounts rules, liaising with clients, Partners and other members of staff and building relationships, assisting with the ordering and managing foreign currency advances and expenses, as well as monitoring vendors on direct debit. You must be able to demonstrate familiarity with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and basic VAT Rules ensuring you remain compliant.

The successful Legal Cashier should ideally have some previous legal cashiering experience within an international law firm environment or professional services environment. Experience using Elite software is highly desired but not essential; experience using other systems such as Aderant/CMS will also be considered. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised self-starter with a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, excellent attention to detail and the willingness to learn.
