Legal Counsel

An international consultancy with interests across a range of disciplines seek an experienced and pragmatic Construction Solicitor to join their legal team.

Based on the outskirts of Newcastle, the expanding team require a qualified Solicitor to provide legal advice and support on a range of commercial, construction and litigation areas including risk, insurance, debt recovery and contract drafting and negotiation.

This brand new role will assist the Legal Director in advising both the group and the rest of the team in litigious and contractual matters and therefore requires an excellent communicator who can work autonomously whilst providing support to junior members of the team when required.

The position would prove an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make their first move into a management or mentoring position. Those candidates with experience in a projects or construction environment would be especially welcome to apply, however more general commercial lawyers with litigation experience will be considered.
