Our client’s growing Wealth Management Team in Teignmouth are looking for a Legal Secretary to support them in the management of their busy and varied workloads.
The successful candidate will provide professional, proactive support to the Wealth Management Team, enabling them to remain organised and to work efficiently and effectively.
They pride themselves on the high levels of client care that they give and anyone joining the Wealth Management Team will have the clients’ needs at the heart of everything they do. You will be confident in communicating with clients and, under the lawyers’ direction, will be comfortable ensuring that clients have the information they need if lawyers are engaged elsewhere.
Your standard responsibilities will include opening, closing and archiving client files, audio- and copy-typing, proof reading and updating dictated work, dealing with emailed or telephone client enquires, document production and assisting lawyers generally with administrative responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a Legal Secretary; experience within a Probate or Wealth Management Team would be welcome but is not a requirement.
You will be very well organised and will enjoy organising others. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and will be happy to adapt to the requirements of the tasks facing you. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how you have used these in your previous positions.
An ability to work closely with team members and a willingness to work as part of a team with the aim of achieving a common goal would be beneficial.
They are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. You may be an experienced Wealth Management Legal Secretary looking for the next challenge or you may be at the start of your career looking to build a challenging and rewarding career.
Initial training and induction, for any candidate, will take place from the Exeter office. They would expect the induction to take roughly 4 weeks.
