Our client is a multinational leader in the medical technology sector who now seek a talented International Privacy Director.
Reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer, this key role will manage a small team and will oversee the development of all aspects of a privacy compliance program including but not limited to applying appropriate laws and regulations, programme and policy development, training, data breach event support, and data strategy for products and services.
The appropriate candidate will ideally be legally qualified and have some experience of working with another life sciences organisation (but candidates with strong experience outside of these requirements will also be considered). You will also have significant experience with European and international privacy program development and management, and a deep knowledge of European privacy and data protection laws, regulations and best practices. IAPP certification(s) (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) will be an advantage whilst you will also be a creative 'business enabler' and enjoy working in a fast paced results orientated environment.
