Insurance Advisor

My client, a well known multinational utility company is seeking an Insurance advisor, to join their legal team on a 6 month basis.

The purpose of the role, which will be based in Canary Wharf, will be to support the Insurance & Risk Manager by providing expert insurance advice in relation to policy coverage and day to day general insurance queries. The key features of this role are to provide a professional service, build strong relationships, follow robust processes and procedures and maintain clear, accurate records.

You must have a minimum of 7 years* experience of working in an insurance expert role involving construction, third party liability policies, indemnity clauses and placement of CAR and 6 cover.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

*Minimum Dip CII qualification from the chartered institute of Insurance, or equivalent from another insurance risk association or body
*In depth knowledge of the principles of insurance and the insurance market, specifically within construction
*Detailed knowledge of the principles of coverage for CAR and public liability policies
*Strong IT skills, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
*Thorough organisational skills with the ability to be resourceful and use own initiative
