• Previous Experience: at least one year as a costs draftsperson handling own costs caseload from a defendant or claimant background.

BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE

The continued growth and increasing competitiveness of the insurance market has resulted in our client seeking to create a more effective costs service with an improvement in their service offering. This has resulted in a position becoming available for an experienced Costs Draftsperson to join the team and be a part of that change.

The firm is looking for someone with proven experience as a Costs Draftsperson. Applicants should be proficient in all the usual responsibilities such as drafting points of dispute and points of reply. Furthermore, the successful candidate should:

i) demonstrate excellent negotiation skills;

ii) work efficiently in a target driven environment;

iii) possess strong attention to detail; and

iv) work effectively as part of a busy team.
