Leading US law firm is looking to hire a Client Events Intern for a 12 month period working as part of a dynamic and friendly team in the London office, the successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager, Global Events and Client Events Assistant to assist with ensuring successful delivery of all logistical and operational elements for the firm’s largest annual signature event in London in addition to supporting the firm’s ongoing events programme.  Duties will include providing support on logistics including research, costings, implementation of events (including drinks receptions, seminars, corporate hospitality, conferences, dinners and webinars), drafting of event invitations utilizing VX, managing the invitation process including monitoring RSVPs, sending confirmations, reminders, dispatch of post event follow up mailers etc., liaising with fee earners and their secretaries to create/amend mailing lists, dealing with external agencies where relevant, working with internal and external sources to design and send out invitations, liaising internally to book rooms, catering, equipment, draft run sheets, researching venues and initial communication with the venue/site visit etc. Exploring alternative event ideas, assisting in the preparation of event materials (handouts, badges etc) and liaising with the print team to ensure all materials are produced in a timely manner, preparing conference consignments (collating items, packing and organizing dispatch), events set up, on-site delivery and break down for all events, updating CRM with attendee details and analysis of feedback post event and attending events to register guests and hosts.  Applicants require strong typographic, layout and information design skills, excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and multitask, be a team player and have strong attention to detail.  Applicants need a strong interest in potentially undertaking an events, PR, marketing career, be degree educated from a leading university and have an attitude of no job too big or too small.
