Childcare Lawyer

We are currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join a great local authority based in Kent for an initial 3 month placement.

As a Childcare Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high quality legal advice on childcare matters, which may include;

• Provide legal advice and support to clients and witnesses
• Attend courts and tribunals undertaking advocacy when required
• Supervision of other members of team when required
• Conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience of conducting their own workload and the ability to supervise other employees where required. It is also desirable to have an extensive range of knowledge of local government law, preferably with previous experience in working within a local authority.
