Legal 500 practice seeks Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to manage a freehold and leasehold caseload within their expanding department in Essex.

The Role
Due to expansion, we are now actively seeking a talented Residential Conveyancing Lawyer for a busy team in Chelmsford. Ensuring high standards of client care and service at all times, the successful Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions with minimal supervision. Duties will include: drafting documentation; reporting on title; submitting searches; advising on SDLT and Land Registry fees; keeping clients updated on the progress of their transactions; managing sales and purchase, re-mortgage and transfer of equity transactions and; achieving firm-set billing targets.
Additionally, the successful Lawyer will attend and represent the practice at marketing and networking initiatives, building long-lasting relationships and generating referrals. The Candidate
You shall be a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 1 years’ PQE;
Technically proficient with solid experience managing a caseload in residential conveyancing;
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a client-focused approach;
Highly organised, working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
Strives for high standards in their work at all times;
Works well as part of a team but is equally comfortable working on their own initiative;
Has a flair for business development and marketing.
