Experienced Paralegal - Commercial Litigation

Your new company
A national provider of legal, professional and regulatory services, working with my many different clients from small business owners to large corporates as well as not for profit organisations. Their goal is to help their clients make the most of their opportunities whilst at the same time, effectively managing risk. They are currently looking for an experienced Paralegal with commercial litigation and debt recovery experience to join their London office.

Your new role
You will be joining the Commercial Litigation team in the London office on a full time, permanent basis. Working directly for a Partner, you will spend the majority of your time acting for one large client, covering the full spectrum of debt recovery work. Specifics of the role include dealing with claims from commencement through to trial, drafting letters before claim and responding to calls and letters from debtors and issuing proceedings for recovery of disputed debts and document drafting. The role will also involve assisting the Partner on other client matters.

What you'll need to succeed
Different training routes will be considered, including the LPC (fully qualified) or CILEX (full or part qualified). You will need to be highly motivated, personally organised and methodical in order to manage the workload and meet clients' needs on a daily basis. You will have previous experience of working in a commercial litigation team, or have experience of debt recovery. In addition, you will be seeking to take on a high levels of responsibility from the outset, and be keen to learn and progress over time.
