Business Development Lead (Senior Manager)  

A first class law firm based in London Is looking for a Business Development Lead to sit within their new focus sector; Manufacturing. The Business Development Lead will design and deliver the firms strategy for the sector as well as develop profile campaign internally. Within the remit of the role the Business Development Lead will engage with two Priority clients and liaise with the Client Relationship Partners to successfully develop, manage and maintain these clients. Moving forward you will be the recognised lead for the manufacturing sector and become the expert within the space.

You will:

  • Build personal understanding of current and emerging issues impacting the sector and work with practice groups to identify opportunities to the specific needs of clients in the manufacturing sector.
  • Content strategy and thought leadership.
  • Implement Client plans to develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the nominated clients and their businesses.
  • Selectively introduce new practice groups and the network contacts to the client
To be successful in this role you will need experience within a business development position within professional services, preferable legal. You will have a proven track record of driving a sector and having some knowledge of the manufacturing market would be a clear advantage. The ability to build relationships and interact with senior level partners within a large corporate environment would be a essential for the role.
