Sole Counsel, eMoov

eMoov, the UK’s number one rated hybrid estate agency, is looking to hire it’s first lawyer into the role of Sole Counsel.  Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for providing legal advice to the group, including:

• Drafting, reviewing and helping negotiate supplier contracts
• Advising on customer facing issues, including B2C terms and conditions and customer queries
• Providing pragmatic advice on a wide range of day-to-day business queries, including operational issues, approval of marketing materials, technology licenses, and other ongoing ad-hoc queries
• Providing legal assistance in other areas including disputes, employment, IP, real estate and data protection
• Creating and improving legal processes and policies
• Liaising with external advisers as appropriate
• Supporting the implementation of our ambitious growth plans
• Involvement in ad hoc corporate transactions

Personal Specification:

• 2+ years' PQE qualified lawyer in England and Wales, with broad corporate and commercial experience gained either in a law firm or in-house.
• Independent self-starter with a proven ability to deliver commercial and pragmatic solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills; attention to detail
• Professional attitude and strong personal ethics
• Team player
