Assistant Company Secretary – Asset Manager

Our client, a well-known asset manager, is seeking an assistant company secretary to join their legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract to start in July. The successful candidate will carry out company secretarial duties for the UK Group of subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain statutory books, Companies House filings and licences for the UK Group entities
  • Draft Board minutes and resolutions
  • Assist with Board and Committee diary management
  • Prepare agenda, attend and minute Committee meetings as may be required
  • Participation in ad hoc project work
  • Deputise for and provide assistance to the Company Secretary as may be required
  • Monitoring legislative change and governance best practice

Qualification

  • ICSA student or GradICSA (part qualified or newly qualified)
  • Good administrative skills including use of Microsoft Office products
  • Some legal or FCA regulatory compliance experience would be useful but not essential
