Accountabilities

This is a newly created role within an expanding team and organisation.

You will be responsible for providing advice in relation to contentious commercial and construction claims. The advice must benefit the company so they can make commercial, cost effective and strategic advice as soon as possible.

You will handle negotiations and commercial settlements but on occasion, you may refer to external counsel for adjudications, advocacy and complex / high level litigation. 

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, 3 – 8 years PQE
  • Personable, robust, confident and have a flexible attitude
  • Essential experience – Commercial litigation lawyers who have some exposure to the construction/ property development or engineering or energy/utilities sectors
  • Experienced in handling some type of ADR preferably settlements and negotiations   

Salary and Culture
