Leading, Lexcel accredited firm are now seeking a Property/Agriculture Solicitor to take on an interesting caseload.
The Firm
Our client is a well-established full-service Lexcel accredited firm with a broad commercial base and represents a wide range of national and global clients including charities, agricultural businesses, housing developers, entrepreneurs and financial services providers. Located in purpose-built offices on the outskirts of Leamington Spa, this substantial firm is regularly instructed in complex and challenging matters and is currently embarked on a period of expansion, including setting up a specialist tax service to support the commercial and residential property teams. Our client is currently looking to recruit a hard-hitting tax specialist at partner level to run this new team. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package including a generous holiday allowance and much more besides.
The Role
Our client is now seeking an experienced Property/Agriculture Solicitor to take on an interesting caseload. The role will consist of offering complex legal advice to homeowners, businesses and landowners, concerning a major planned transport project. The successful Solicitor will have a genuine enthusiasm for agricultural matters and a good general understanding of the laws surrounding this area. Duties of this position will include: claims for statutory compensation; liaising with agents; applications for payments; need to sell; pursuing appeals to the Upper Tribunal; reviewing land access agreements and; agreeing mitigation measures. Our client will consider applicants seeking a part-time role as well as those seeking a full-time position.

The Candidate
Applications are welcome from qualified Solicitor with 4 + years’ PQE gained in Property and Agricultural matters at a reputable firm;

Demonstrating a general understanding of leases and tenancies in both commercial and agricultural property;
Proactively participating in business development and networking initiatives.
