THE FIRM:

A highly regarded law firm with offices located nationally specialising in providing exceptional client service in health, housing and social care.

THE ROLE:

Our client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in healthcare and who wish to develop their career in this area of law.

In addition to clinical negligence work, the department carries out a wide range of other work which includes: -

  • Inquests;
  • Advising on regulatory matters;
  • Public law issues;
  • Judicial reviews;
  • Mental health issues;
  • Clinical risk management.

This role will involve advising on the above issues, working alongside a national team of leading solicitors and supportive colleagues.

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor or have up to 6 pqe preferably within a leading healthcare law practice. The role will involve managing a caseload of claims for NHS Resolution.

The ability to work as part of a friendly team and deliver excellent client service at all times is also essential to this role.

You will demonstrate talent, ambition and a real interest in the healthcare sector.

Our client is seeking a self-motivated, ambitious and experienced solicitor to join their highly regarded and expanding clinical negligence/medical malpractice litigation team.

The successful candidate will be expected to have litigation experience, preferably gained with a leading medical negligence (defendant or claimant) personal injury or insurance practice.
