The Role

Because this firm are expanding, they are looking for a Commercial Property Partner to join their thriving Commercial Property practice in their Brighton office, East Sussex.

The Commercial Property team deal with a wide range of high net worth Property work, including: drafting and negotiation of commercial property leases, renewal and termination of leases, purchase and sales, lease covenants for landlords or tenants, acquisition and disposal of freehold/leasehold properties, land and property development, trust property, investment property, sale and purchase of businesses, licensed premises, and more.

The role of Partner will be work on the department's highest value Property transactions and cases, to refer work to the firm's other departments as and when necessary, to business develop and market for the firm, to help train and mentor junior members of the team, and to work alongside the firm's award winning Property litigation team in contentious matters, as and when necessary.

The role will come with excellent prospects for equity.

Requirements

  • You will be a Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner
  • The successful Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner will have evidence of exceeding billing targets
  • The successful Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner will have evidence of team/departmental leadership
  • A following is desirable but not essential
  • The successful Commercial Property Solicitor or Partner will have experience in cross referring work to other departments
