Paralegal

Role: Legal Executive

Salary: Up to £40K

Reports to: General Counsel

Contract: Permanent

Our client is in the top 100 list for the best Law Firms in London. Being well known as a dynamic firm that deals with a variety of transactional work, they are looking to recruit a fantastic, switched on paralegal for the groups legal team in relation to:

• Corporate and company secretarial matters in respect of the group and its asset owning vehicles
• Insurance policies
• Vessel acquisition and ship finance activities
• Commercial activities such as pool agreements, time charter parties and profit share arrangements

Essential Skills:

• 2:1 in law degree
• 2 years of previous paralegal experience either in the finance/corporate finance department of a large city law firm
• Preferably shipping finance experience, not necessarily though
• Excellent team player and has good interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability and confidence to work under pressure and in a fast paced, commercial environment
