Crime Duty Solicitor

Role: Crime Duty Solicitor 2+ PQE

Location: West London

Salary: £35k - £40k DOE

An opportunity has arisen for two experienced and hardworking Crime Duty Solicitors to join an expanding and busy specialist team. My Client is a highly accredited Niche law firm specialising in Criminal Defence, White Collar Crime and Fraud.

You will be responsible for managing your own full and varied caseload of Crime matters including Serious crimes, general crimes and a significant workload of private client cases, attending police stations and conducting advocacy.

Duty solicitor status is a MUST and Police station accreditation would be highly desirable.

Candidates must be commercially focused, with excellent communication skills, an ability to work independently with minimal supervision with a flair for negotiation and relationship building, and be comfortable in providing independent advice.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Qualified Criminal Law Solicitor 2+ PQE
• Ability to manage own caseload from instruction up to and including advocacy
• Experience dealing with Criminal Defence cases
• Duty Solicitor status

Desirable:

• Police Station accredited
