A world renowned publishing house is seeking a new Contracts Manager on a permanent part time basis in Cambridge.
The role falls under the supervision of Legal Counsel - Editorial & IP, and in liaison with the Legal Advisors. You will provide management and support in respect of editorial and IP contracting within the Press with particular emphasis on content creation and rights management (most notably when contracting with authors and journal societies), general IP/copyright advice and procedure.
The ideal candidate will be a University graduate, preferably with some legal experience and/or training and have experience in a Contracts Manager role working in IP, editorial or licensing contract work. If you have worked for a publisher before including digital this would be advantageous.
