Your new role
You will be working as an Assistant within the Conveyancing team supporting the Fee Earners. Your role will be busy and varied, so you will need to use a high degree of self-management and initiative to ensure the smooth running of the department. Your work will include using the case management system to open and close files, to prepare correspondence and documents, to liaise with clients both over the telephone and in person, and to provide support generally to the team with any required tasks. You will support all post completion procedures, such as registering transactions, distributing file balances and archiving files.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in a similar legal role as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, it would be beneficial for this experience to have been within conveyancing (residential or commercial) but this is not essential. Ideally you will have the LPC, but again this is not absolutely essential.
