In House Employment Lawyer - Interim
A public body in Oxfordshire is seeking an interim employment lawyer to support their wide ranging requirements. The role is for a minimum period of 6 months although has the possibility to be made permanent or extended far beyond this time frame.
The role itself consists of:
- Employment law for employees
- Assistance to nationally regulated service personnel
- Preparation for tribunal work although mostly outsourced
- Dealing with discrimination claims
- Unfair dismissals
- General advisory work to line managers and HR staff
You will be a UK qualified employment lawyer who can work for at least 30 hours per week. You will need to be at least 1 years PQE to be able to conduct the role to the appropriate standard. You will also be available to start work with a maximum of 1 month notice period.
The role comes with a highly competitive daily rate and flexible hours. The minimum requirement is for 30 hours per week from whoever joins the business though the timing of this can be largely negotiated (condensed hours for 4 days, early starts or late finishes etc).
