Head of Legal

A well-known, global investment manager is currently looking for a Head of Global Private Markets Products, Legal (real estate debt and debt/direct lending) to lead the division of the legal function on a 12 month fixed-term contract. Our client heavily invests in artificial intelligence, machine learning and other technology; enabling the firm to be market-leading in its field. Responsibilities of the role will likely entail;

• Leading the legal function division with a focus on product formation, product development and product maintenance
• Assisting with investment transactions of launched products
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating key product documentation
• Interacting with other teams within the Legal group and maintaining close relationships with key stakeholders
• Providing commercial advice
• Managing external counsel relationships

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate;

• Relevant experience gained within in-house and/or a leading law firm
• Experience within the private markets sector
• Experience of alternative investment funds will be advantageous
