The Assistant Company Secretary will provide Company Secretarial support to the Group Company Secretary ensuring that the Group meetings its statutory, listing and governance obligations.

Description

Assistant Company Secretary - International Business

West Midlands

Role:

- Assist the Group Company Secretary with writing the Annual and Interim reports

- Liaise with the Company Secretarial Assistant to ensure Blueprint and Companies House are up to date

- Maintain a register of all group-wide insurance policies across their international subsidiaries

- Assist with Governance compliance programmes

- Act as Secretary to the Pension Scheme Trustees

- Responsible for attending and minuting the Risk Committee meetings

- Assist the Group Compliance Officer and Group Company Secretary with any redesigns/revisions of the Group's Code of Business Conduct

- Maintain relevant Company licences

- Part-Qualified company secretary

- Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

- Strong working knowledge of corporate governance

- Demonstrable ability to manage committee meetings; agendas, minute taking and follow-up actions

- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
