Commercial Litigation Paralegal

The Role:

-You will be joining one of the largest and busiest dispute resolution teams in the North East.

-The role will involve you taking on your own caseload that covers a broad spectrum of litigation work. This will include commercial and property litigation matters from basic contract disputes through to high value multitrack cases.

-There will be a real focus on client care in this role and you will fit into and complement the existing team of fee earners.

-You will liaise with other teams including the Employment and Commercial Property teams in order to help with any relevant litigation matters.

The Candidate:

-For this role it is essential that you have precious experience as a Paralegal within another commercial litigation department. Ideally you will have upwards of twelve months experience.

-The ideal candidate will have a basic level understanding of Company Law, Contract Law, Property Law and Law of Tort.

-Excellent communication skills will be a necessity, with the ability to liaise confidently with commercial clients. As is the ability to build relationships with a broad range of clients from individuals, partnerships and limited companies from a variety of different sectors.

-The ideal candidate should hold or be working towards a specific legal qualification e. CILEx or the LPC
