Experienced Banking and Governance Solicitor sought for highly-regarded firm in East London.
The Role
An interesting position has arisen for a Banking and Governance Solicitor to join a highly-regarded practice in East London. The successful Solicitor will be confident in taking on work involving mainly: high-value mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; drafting relevant documents; attending board meetings; maintaining accurate files and; liaising with clients. This role will cover areas including charity law, company law, social housing and regulation, therefore experience in these areas is advantageous.

The Candidate
Applications are welcome from qualified Solicitors with 3-5 years’ PQE gained in a reputable firm;
Experience in Company/Commercial law is essential;
Corporate governance experience is advantageous;
Proven strong, consistent academic record gaining a minimum of a 2:1 at degree level;
Excellent communication and client care skills across all levels;
Demonstrating solid IT skills, particularly with Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet;
Willing to participate in business development and networking initiatives.
