Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory

The Company :

A leading UK telco are seeking a magic/silver circle trained regulatory Lawyer to join their highly regarded team based in Berkshire.

The Role :

As a Senior Legal Counsel within the Consumer & Regulatory team, you will work closely with the stakeholders advising on complex legislative matters. On offer is a broad role within a skilled and collaborative team, excellent career progression and competitive package.

You remit will include but not be limited to;

• Developing new policies, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organization.
• Applying expertise to act as the subject expert on how to professionally interpret and apply knowledge of laws and regulations.
• Researching legal issues and legislative changes
• Liaising with ofcom on a regular basis, keeping abreast of any new developments

You :

The successful candidate will be/have the following :

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE.
• Trained at a magic/silver circle firm
• Extensive regulatory experience
• Exposure to telecoms / technology regulations would be beneficial but not essential
