Sue Ross Legal are working with a well known and respected firm of Solicitors who are recruiting a Head of Conveyancing to work within their busy Residential Conveyancing department. Managing the Conveyancing team, you will be responsible for providing and leading a high quality service.
The successful candidate will be managing a caseload of more complex Conveyancing files including but not limited to:
• Shared ownership
• Leasehold matters
• Sales and purchases of part
Other key duties will include:
• Developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance in all areas
• Ensuring budgets are adhered to
• Leading and developing a team, ensuring optimum performance and motivation
• Embodying best practice
• Acting as a point of advice for clients
• Contributing to business development through proactive implementation of sales and marketing strategies
• Building strong working relationships
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of current laws and legislation
• Always working in line with the firm’s core values
• Allocating resources appropriately and effectively
• Ensuring the highest level of client care is provided at all times
The successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive individual with first class communication and people-management skills. You must be dedicated to continuous improvement and the effective growth of the department.
