Legal Counsel, Europe

Our client is a British, FTSE-listed company who are searching for a commercial lawyer to join their established, West Midlands based legal team to work on projects on an international scale.

Located at the company's HQ and reporting into the Divisional General Counsel, the successful lawyer will have the opportunity to work closely with the business and undertake a varied role with commercial contracts being the primary area of work.

Responsibilities for this individual will include:
- Drafting and negotiating international long term, high value and often complex supply and procurement agreements.
- Promoting good practice with regards to contract management and IP protection.
- Conduct training for other business areas regarding legal and compliance policy.
- Supporting on disputes and other arbitration or regulatory matters when they arise.
- Ensuring compliance and corporate governance in line with anti-bribery, corruption and competition law.

We are keen to hear from individuals that have gained at least four years commercial legal experience, working either in-house or with a leading national law firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer to join a high calibre in house team, and take on an interesting and diverse in-house role.
