My client, a reputable, Merseyside based law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy Conveyancing department.

This Conveyancing Assistant role will consist of assisting on a caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from start to finish, which will consist of Sales and Purchase transactions. The Conveyancing Assistant role will be working closely with the Fee Earner to ensure smooth running of case files under minimal supervision, with duties including:

* Opening files

* Carrying out and checking pre-contract and pre-completion searches

* Checking Client ID's, obtaining and checking Land Registry documents.

* Drafting Contracts

* Dealing with all enquires on Sale files.

* Dealing with exchanging of contracts

* Dealing with Completions and submitting SDLT's.

The Successful candidate must have excellent telephone manner and communication skills and be able to work within a team.

It is essential to have a minimum of 3 years experience within a Residential Property department working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Higher and with experience working in a high volume environment and Fee earning experience would be advantageous.

The salary on offer for this Conveyancing Assistant role is up to £25,000 dependent on previous Conveyancing Experience.
