IN-HOUSE: Senior Commercial Contracts Solicitor

Your new company
This rapidly growing organisation, with a strong business model and track record for success across the globe, is looking to appoint a senior commercial solicitor to take a lead role in managing the day-to-day activities of a busy in-house legal team.

Your new role
You will join the business as a Senior Solicitor, reporting into the General Counsel & Company Secretary for a listed company. Your role will involve handling a broad range of commercial contracts matters in relation to IT contracts, distribution and manufacturing agreements, marketing contracts, confidentiality agreements and more across all major continents. You will work in a fast-paced environment on a varied workload of commercial contracts, legal projects, managing queries as well as supervising and coaching other members of the legal team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a UK qualified solicitor with solid drafting skills and experience in a good spread of complex and commercial contracts. In-house or secondment experience would be ideal and you will need to have excellent relationship building skills as you will be engaging with the business at group level. Given the nature of the business, international experience is helpful although not essential. It is important that you can work seamlessly with the management board, the wider business as well as external advisors.
