Locum Commercial Property Lawyer (Part-Time)

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property and Contracts Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands. The Council are looking for someone to work on a part time basis, working 3 days per week. The contract is likely to be for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension dependent on work load.

The ideal candidate will be a Lawyer, Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally holding experience of working for a Local Authority.

Duties will include:

• Providing legal support on a range of property, conveyancing and contract matters to internal clients, dealing with external lawyers and other professionals
• Property work will include dealing with Right to Buys, Licences, Landlord and Tenant matters deeds of grant, Tenancy Agreements, Leases, deeds of postponement/covenants, considering title enquiries, Rights of ways, Statutory Declarations and drafting property documentation

An hourly rate of £30 - £40 per hour is offered dependent upon experience. There may also be some flexibility in terms of remote working for the right candidate.
