We have an excellent opportunity for a Planning Lawyer to join a leading law firm with offices through the UK.

This Top 100 law firm are seeking an ambitious and responsible Planning Lawyer with demonstrable interest and relevant experience to join their reputable team based in Birmingham. The firm has a comprehensive legal network providing a quality approach to delivering effective advice.

The successful candidate will be advising on all aspects of planning law including major retail, mixed use and office developments, portfolio acquisitions and disposals, planning applications and appeals and major infrastructure projects. You must be technically strong and commercially aware with a pro-active approach towards planning law. You will also be committed to the role and have the ability to provide commercially realistic solutions.

To be successful for the role you will be:

  • Qualified solicitor with a PQE of 7 years upwards (guideline only)
  • Have a proven background dealing with a varied and complex caseload of planning matters, working autonomously whilst supporting the wider team
  • Have a commitment to business development and client relationship management
