Due to the new partnership between Birmingham City Council and Hays, we are now looking to recruit a Locum Childcare Solicitor to work in the heart of the city centre. Your new role

As a Solicitor / Barrister, you will be working within the Child and Adult Social Care Legal Services department to provide legal services to the City Council departments, its officers and employees. You will be responsible for a full caseload where you will be required to oversee case proceedings involving some potentially high profile cases, supervision orders, interim care orders and emergency protection orders.


What you'll need to succeed

As a qualified Solicitor, you would have a minimum of 5 years PQE, however we will consider lower. You will also have experience of working solely in a Childcare department and experience of handling Childcare caseloads and court proceedings.
