An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Property Lawyer to join a busy team within local government on an interim basis. The contract will be for a minimum of 3 months, with definite scope for extension.
The role will encompass a mix of property law, including landlord and tenant work, housing development, section 106 agreements as well as wider contracts and procurement work to including drafting construction, service consultancy and IT contracts and advising on contracts and procurement legislation and procedures.
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (or equivalent qualification) and have at least 2 years prior experience in property law and/or contracts and procurement law, ideally in a public law setting.
You will be able to handle a contracts and property workload with limited supervision, as well as being able to work well as part of a team.
