These members own or manage around half the rural land in the UK with over 250 types of businesses ranging from individuals to large corporations. They are a nationally recognise lobby with a visible presence and influence with the media and government. With offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle they are shaping policies across the UK.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for Taxation Adviser to join this companies established Knightsbridge office.
You will work alongside the chief taxation adviser in the development and promotion of the taxation policy and the provision of advice to the members of such matters. Your responsibilities include primarily matters concern the taxation of land in England and wales but also the taxation of rural businesses more generally to include direction taxation, capital taxation and indirect taxation.
Further to this you will be responding to government and other consultation papers as appropriate. Assisting in briefings, lobbying's, communications and marketing. You will find this is an excellent office with real career opportunity, providing advice to some of the most esteemed members in the country.
Requirements

• You will be a solicitor, barrister, legal executive, chartered tax adviser or HMRC officer with over 3 years' experience.
• Knowledge of taxation of rural businesses
• Experience of advising landowners, farmers and land managers.
• A capable, personable individual
• This role is paying up to £70k depending on your experience, and comes with an excellent package
