Legal Counsel – Thames Valley – Pharmaceuticals
Our client is one of the world’s leading Clinical Research companies with an operation extending to all international markets. They are a leader in the field and are now looking to recruit a Legal Counsel to hold the legal function within the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and other commercial and corporate documents
- Providing legal advice and training within the legal department and to other departments within the organisation
- Developing, reviewing compliance with company policies, procedures and instructions
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the UK and a qualified Lawyer
- 3 – 8 years PQE*
- Experience of the Pharmaceutical or compatible industries covering EMEA
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial, corporate, regulatory, compliance and employment experience are all desirable
Ideally you will have gained experience at a respected law firm and/or in-house, with exposure to the pharmaceutical/healthcare industries. Essential to the success of this role is the ability to influence and negotiate at a variety of different levels, and you must have exceptional communication skills.
