Job Description

Coordinate and support actions & initiatives to ensure compliance of AB InBev's European business with major legal requirements and internal codes & policies, in close cooperation with Internal Audit:

  • Day to day responsibility for managing and effectively rolling out the Global Compliance Program across Europe incl. Export and Middle East
  • Draft/amend rules/codes related to ethics and compliance for internal/external use across Europe, and aligned with the Global team.
  • Coordinate and participate in the European Compliance Committee, as well as support the Business Unit Compliance Committees and define areas of focus.
  • Closely liaise with national & business unit legal teams to ensure effective implementation of the Global Compliance Program and to coordinate and monitor internal compliance investigations.
  • Drive AB InBev's compliance platform for Europe. Manage and coordinate investigations of reported compliance breaches in cooperation with Internal Audit and the Europe & Business Unit Compliance Committees and follow-up of all compliance issues.
  • Lead the preparation on Europe Zone's quarterly reporting to ABI's Audit Committee & annual reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Lead the development and implementation of compliance routines and standards of certification. Implementation and support of reporting process in LCA Europe.
  • Overseeing compliance management in Joint Venture in Russia

The Successful Applicant

  • Fully qualified lawyer (Legal university degree); additional Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law is a plusIdeally 7 years of experience gained at law firms or Legal departments of international companies, in one of the areas of work, especially in Compliance. *
  • Significant previous experience with cross border work
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, distinctive negotiation skills and high mobility
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills relating to high level contacts inside; high interpersonal and communication skills, ability to persuade people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Strong organisation skills and high level of pro-activity, Strong analytic skills combined with high capability to conceptualise
  • Ability to work autonomously, in a result-orientated and effective problem-solving way
  • Availability to travel across Europe incl. to work on-site in defined countries to dis-burden and support local teams in cases of crisis or when specific expert knowledge is required.
