Regulatory Lawyer, Telco (mat cover)

A highly regarded international telco business is looking for a Regulatory Lawyer to join their team on a maternity cover contract to be based in central Glasgow. This role is to support the organisation with consumer and customer regulatory advice, offering a competitive salary package and opportunity to work on challenging and complex matters.

You will be responsible for:

- advising on consumer related legal and regulatory requirements

- working with project teams to deliver new products and promotions

- produce executive briefings on key consumer legal matters

- leading formal response to consultations, requests for information and investigations

- liasing extensively with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies

To be considered for this role you will be 6+ years PQE, trained in a reputable firm with subsequent experience either in-house or in practice as a regulatory lawyer, preferably within the telco sector. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge whilst providing astute strategic advice to a complex and fast paced organisation.

Some travel to London will be required once per month.
