Legal Counsel

Your new company
A growing software solutions business is seeking a sole Legal Counsel to join their growing business.

Your new role
You will be sole legal counsel for the UK and European operations , reporting into the Finance Director. You will provide legal advice and support to the business across all departments. You will take the lead on structuring, drafting, reviewing, analysing and negotiating a range of commercial contract, like software licensing agreements, distribution arrangements, third party supplier agreements. You will also compliance in order to protect the company's best interest (analysing commercial risk) and taking the lead on GDPR.

What you'll need to succeed
Seeking an individual who has a solid understanding of commercial law, specifically drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of commercial contracts. You will be a UK Qualified Solicitor with between 3-7 years PQE. Proven experience gained from previous role within Private Practice or in-house sector. You will have a high level of business acumen and a strong work ethic., strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
