Employment Fee Earner

Sue Ross Legal have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Fee Earner to join a well-known and respected firm of Solicitors based in the Chesterfield area.

You will be providing vital support to the Head of Employment as well as managing your own diverse caseload. The client are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running and, as such, previous experience of file handling is essential.

Key duties will include:

• Managing a full and varied caseload comprising of both contentious and non-contentious cases
• Ensuring first-class file management
• Providing excellent client care
• Conducting research
• Preparing and drafting legal documents
• Proactively following up on new instructions and contributing positively to caseload retention
• Providing expert legal advice
• Securing excellent results for clients
• Litigating as appropriate
• Liaising with external parties as necessary
• Adhering to company protocols and procedures
• Contributing to business development
• Attending networking events
• Maintaining a current knowledge of Employment Law

This role would suit a proactive and motivated candidate. It is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm who are dealing with an interesting and diverse caseload. The successful candidate must be a team-player with excellent communication skills.
