A position has become available at this major global law firm has grown significantly to become one of the world’s largest.  This Global Real Estate Business Development Manager is a senior level, strategic role where you will lead global business development and marketing initiatives for the group.

Reporting to the Global Real Estate Practice Director, this role involves significant interaction with the Global Real Estate Heads and working closely with partners, lawyers and business development specialists in the practice across the firm’s international offices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the creation of the annual global strategic BD plan and corresponding global budget for the practice;
  • Identifying appropriate BD opportunities for the practice in addition to conducting market analysis, industry and competitive intelligence research reports for BD opportunities;
  • Working with partners and professionals to create, prepare and coordinator proposals/pitches and responses to Cross-Regional RFPs;
  • Working with the Practice Director to track cross-regional performance;
  • Developing high-level partnering relationships with industry associations and consultants, identifying connections, speaking and conference presentation opportunities; and
  • Leveraging marketing technology and other knowledge management resources, increasing prospect identification and internal information sharing.

To be considered for this role, significant marketing and business development experience in a professional services firm is essential. Preferably, this experience will have been acquired in the legal or real estate sectors.

As an individual, you must be proficient at issue-spotting, and possess a strong intellectual curiosity about real estate. You will be able to work at higher levels of management within the firm and have the tenacity to drive forward initiatives, galvanise support and win round different offices around the world. A keen sensitivity to dealing with cultural differences is also key.

This position can be positioned in the firm’s UK or Middle East offices, and will involve considerable travel to overseas offices and events, as needed.
