Senior HR Advisor (12 month FTC) – c£45k-£50k
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented HR Advisor/HR Officer to work on a 12 month FTC at a growing, entrepreneurial law firm. It’s a full-service role that will see you completely immersed in the business and part of a truly valued team.
Working alongside another Senior HR Advisor, you will report into the Head of HR but will be working in a very autonomous capacity in a more HRBP type role. You will also have the support of an experienced HR Assistant to free you up to focus on the key elements of the role.
Duties will include;
- Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the firms’ goals, people and processes.
- Acting as the main point of call for both support staff and fee earners within your practice areas providing advice and guidance on all people issues.
- Managing complex ER issues and ongoing HR projects.
- Liaising with the rest of the HR and line managers across the firm to make them aware of employee relations issues.
- Managing all recruitment for the practice area.
- Managing salary review and appraisals for the practice area, including suggesting promotions/performance reviews.
- Managing monthly payroll for the allocated group, alongside the HR Assistant.
- Identifying and preparing development plans for key employees.
- Developing, reviewing and updating policies & procedures.
What they are looking for is a CIPD qualified (or at least part qualified) HR Advisor or HR Officer with at least 5-6 years’ experience in HR within a professional services environment (ideally law firms but the will consider those from accountancy, consultancy etc.) who is available immediately or at least very quickly.
Although this is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract the team is growing so there is a very strong possibility of this being extended or made permanent for the right person.
