Commercial Property Solicitor - Derby

This leading East Midlands firm seeks a solicitor with 1-4 PQE to join their busy and expanding commercial property department.

Based in Derby, the department covers a wide range of issues from commercial and residential site acquisitions, funding arrangements and agreements, planning and infrastructure agreements, joint ventures and options, commercial leases and general landlord and tenant advice.

You will undertake a varied caseload including the following:

• Manage your own caseload and assist partners on more complex transactions
• Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
• Landlord and Tenant work
• Acting for clients in connection with property portfolio management
• Building strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, becoming involved in marketing and business development opportunities

You must be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of landlord and tenant law. Due to the projected growth in the department, there are excellent career prospects on offer.
