Plot Sales Paralegal.
The residential development at this award-winning international law firm is seeking an experienced plot sales paralegal to join their office based in the heart of Manchester city centre. This office has grown significantly over recent years due to continued success across all practice areas.
The team specialises in housing and regeneration work and provides a range of services to social housing providers and local government but also work with well-known private developers. They deal with a number of matters including shared ownership, open market sales, Help to Buy, staircasing (interim and final), applications for licence to assign, mortgagee in possession sales, amongst other matters.
You will be responsible for conducting your own caseload of files which will predominantly involve advising registered providers and private developers on the sale of new build properties. You will advise registered providers on shared ownership schemes (including staircasing and deeds of variations); right to buy and right to acquire sales and on the purchase of individual residential properties. You will also assist members of the team on a wide range of property matters including advising on leasehold management matters. You will be responsible for liaising with clients directly and therefore maintaining and developing client relationships on behalf of the team and the wider firm.
To be considered for this plot sales paralegal opportunity you will need to have a strong academic profile (2:1 or equivalent) and have a bright and enthusiastic approach. Ideally you will have worked within the commercial property team of a national or recognised regional firm although those from a volume residential conveyancing background will be considered. You will be keen to join a highly regarded real estate team in a collaborative and team-focused environment.
