Locum Planning Lawyer

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join a Local Authority legal team in Suffolk. This opportunity offers the flexibility of homeworking for the right candidate.

The assignment is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension dependent upon work load.

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of planning law and will have managed a caseload of matters within Local Government.

The day-to-day duties will include:

• Providing advice on a wide range of planning matters
• Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions
• Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
• Offering support to other legal departments as and when required
• Attending planning inquiries and Planning Committees

The position offers an hourly rate of £45 - £50 per hour, along with homeworking and is offered on a part-time basis for 3 days per week.
