We are delighted to be working one of Birmingham's leading commercial firms to assist them in recruiting a PSL (Professional Support Lawyer) to their market leading Construction team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about Construction law but is looking for a change and wants the variety of work and interaction that being a PSL Lawyer entails.

In this role you will be a key contributor in every facet of the Construction team's business. This will involve both contentious and non-contentious work. Key areas of this role will entail:

  • Document management - developing and maintaining a suite of contracts from precedents to client specific deals.
  • Knowledge management - ensuring that knowledge and expertise is collected and utilised to ensure the Lawyers can provide the best level of client service.
  • Training - working with the training team to help role out industry updates, legislative briefings, introducing new technologies.
  • Business development - assisting lawyers prepare for pitches and tenders, client meetings and events.

We are keen to speak with people with a strong track record working in a Construction team or a previous PSL role. Ideally this will have been with in a similar sized, corporate firm. You will be well organised, have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
